Artist Series at Wheaton College: Gabriela Montero, Edman Memorial Chapel. Gabriela Montero in Concert The Artist Series at Wheaton College presents pianist Gabriela Montero. As a concert pianist, Gabriela uniquely combines classical music with improvisation, creating one-of-a-kind music for her audience. She has performed since the age of five in both Europe and America, and she can draw inspiration as easily from the Beatles as she can from Mozart. Edman Chapel is located on the northeast corner of Washington and Franklin streets in Wheaton. Online orders may be placed through Wednesday, February 8 at www.artistseries.org.

“Art at its Finest” – An Indoor Art Show, Glen Ellyn Civic center, Friday, February 2 to Saturday, February 3. A juried art show featuring fine artists. Friday evening will be a ticketed event where you can “Meet the Artists” as you enjoy wine and food pairings from Glen Ellyn’s finest restaurants. Saturday will be open to the public and admission is free.
